Physiotherapist working at the Farsley clinic
Clare qualified in 2003 as a physiotherapist from the University of Huddersfield, since then she has undertaken several musculoskeletal courses to further develop her knowledge and manual therapy skills, and she is also fully qualified in acupuncture. She is a qualified Pilates instructor with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI), and has undertaken training with Fit Back and Bumps to provide antenatal and postnatal education and exercises. Clare has been studying at the University of Bradford for a Masters in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and is close to completing these studies.
Since qualifying Clare has progressed her career at Bradford Teaching hospitals NHS trust, to become a senior physiotherapist specialising in musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. Alongside this she has also worked at the Nuffield hospital in Huddersfield in orthopaedics and out-patient clinics, as well as another private physiotherapy clinic before joining the Yorkshire Physiotherapy Network in 2011. Clare also teaches Pilates classes, including ante and postnatal classes.
Away from work Clare enjoys maintaining her fitness levels at the gym, and socialising with family and friends.
