Simon Wray - Physiotherapist

Simon qualified as a physiotherapist at Huddersfield University in 2003. He has since achieved qualifications to Masters level in spinal disorders and is Mckenzie accredited.  Simon is also fully qualified in acupuncture (AACP registered) and is a qualified fitness instructor.

Simon worked as a Physiotherapist in the Bradford NHS Foundation Trust and progressed to work as a Senior Physiotherapist within Dewsbury’s Mid Yorkshire Trust musculoskeletal department specialising in shoulder injuries.  Simons special interest in sports injuries led him to work as the lead physiotherapist for Halifax RLFC and Keighley Cougars RLFC and for the past five years Simon has worked as the head Physiotherapist for Super League’s Wakefield Trinity Wildcats. In 2012 Simon was the physiotherapist for the Exiles Rugby League team and we are proud to say Simon is the official physiotherapist for the Fiji 2013 Rugby League World Cup team.

Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, for nine years Simon earned his living as a professional Rugby League player, playing for Keighley Cougars, Bramley, Sheffield Eagles and York City Knights.
